Caesars Entertainment has enough home grown issues and projects to keep its executives busy, but they took time out this week to express disappointment with a new Mississippi law that it said will encourage discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
“We respect our country’s long history of religious freedom,” a state from the company declared. “However that freedom should not be used to legislatively discriminate against LGBT people who include our employees and customers.
“That law will not promote economic growth and tourism in the state,” the statement concluded.
