Peter Maheu dies unexpectedly

Global Gaming Peter MaheuPeter Maheu, 67, president and managing partner of Global Intelligence Network, an intelligence and investigations firm specializing in due diligence for regulatory compliance in the gaming industry and other business sectors, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 3.

Maheu, a licensed private investigator in Nevada and California, was also the chairman and CEO of QSI Specialists, the largest mystery shopping firm in Nevada.

In addition to running both companies, Maheu often wrote articles and lectured to various organizations, including the International Association of Gaming Attorneys, World Presidents’ Organization, and the California Association of Licensed Investigators on topics such as compliance, due diligence and complex business fraud.

Maheu is survived by his wife, Rosemary, and their three sons, Peter, Mark and Jeff.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, at St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 East Flamingo Road.
